At the end of it all, our primary goal is to educate, empower, and positively impact the community.
Educate: Educate our black community with knowledge for the betterment of our culture.
Empower: Empower our black community to become stronger and more confident--especially in controlling one’s life and standing up for one’s rights.
Impact: Impact our black community by leaving a lasting positive effect.
Damednydc was born and raised in New York and is now a proud resident coming to you live and direct from the the DMV area (DC/Maryland/Virginia).

Alisa Middleton is the founder of The United Black Council in Northern, VA. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, and is a proud product of an activist family. At an early age, Alisa understood the plight of black people - her passion is her purpose.
